Mrs. Hester's Classroom

The classroom is well on it's way to completion! Thank goodness!!!! Here is a picture I took about a week ago. Since then, I've done much more. Our classroom theme is everything Western. Cowboys, cowgirls, horses, rodeos, etc. I can't wait to meet my Herd! Saddle up, because we're going to have a rootin' tootin' year!

Getting Ready for a New Year

Look for pictures of our classroom soon! Mr. Kevin is moving my things from the third grade hallway down to my new room in the second grade hallway today (hopefully). That means I'll have exactly two weeks to get everything organized and ready for school to begin. Getting ready for a new year is always exciting! I can't wait to get started.

The Life of Your Teacher- Summer 2010

Well... it's been a very busy summer. Will, my oldest son, just finished up his first season of baseball, my husband renovated our new home, and we just (finally) got moved. I've also managed to fit in some pool fun and much needed time with friends. Whew! I've enjoyed every minute of my hectic summer, but I am also very eager to get back to school.
